Rohe Nordberg Review
Proper statistical inference is a long path that starts with a question, which is refined into a designed experiment, followed by execution, data gathering, and analysis. Many people imagine statistics as just that final step—data analysis. However, for statistical inference to be valid, everything must be sound along the entire path that precedes analysis.
Over the last century, statisticians have systematized the final steps of statistical inference using computers and probability theory. At Rohe Nordberg Review, we are working to systematize the miles of statistical inference that come before these final steps. Inspired by our work before LLMs, we develop statistical-reading processes for LLMs and novel, rigorous methods to validate these processes.
We are Karl Rohe and Auden Nordberg Krauska. We are excited to meet folks with specific problems that require large-scale statistical reading comprehension.
